I use this cable in my Subaru Ascent with out any issues connecting to Carplay.

Yes it does. I have it hooked up on my KENWOOD in one car and in a new civic to factory deck.

It would although it is very short. It depends on where you’re plug is in the vehicle. No room to turn you’re phone once plugged in.
