Yes, I use this cable at work to charge my Apple Watch 1. It charges just as fast as the cable that came with my watch.

Tried using this with my Series 1 Apple Watch and the watch got very hot. Wouldn’t recommend for Series 1.

Oh yes it works perfectly with my Apple 1 series watch and was not as expensive as Apple brand I suggest the purchase
