I'm more interested in whether I can use this transmitter to transmit sound from my guitar amp to my bluetooth headphones. Whatever I've tried so far has had too much latency (i,e, a delay between what I was playing and what I was hearing through my headphones). Any thoughts on that? Thanks.

Please try again later.Yes, Dave, the Insignia™ Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter and Receiver can hook up to your guitar amp if it has an auxiliary input (often labeled as "AUX" or "Line In") or if it supports Bluetooth connectivity. Here's how you can use it: Transmitter Mode: If your guitar amp doesn't have Bluetooth capability, you can use the transmitter mode of the Insignia™ device to transmit audio wirelessly from your guitar or other audio source to your amp. Simply connect the transmitter to your guitar or audio source using a suitable cable (e.g., 1/4-inch to 3.5mm cable for your guitar) and pair it with the receiver unit. Receiver Mode: If your guitar amp has Bluetooth capability, you can use the receiver mode of the Insignia™ device to receive audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or any other Bluetooth-enabled device. Connect the receiver to your guitar amp using a suitable cable (e.g., 3.5mm to 1/4-inch cable) or via Bluetooth pairing. I hope this helps.
