Can this battery replace a 6V 4A76? null

doubt it, dif voltage & dif size d batteries are 1.5v & 33.2mm*61.5mm 476a are 6v & 13mm*25.2mm

I do not think it can replace the battery that you listed. You need some type of 6V battery.

AA, AAA, C and D batteries are all 1.5v batteries. The size just changes how long they last depending on the product you use them in. All batteries need to be replaced by the identified battery in order for the device to work properly.
