• The suction cup mount does not rely on any form of adhesive to hold fast to whatever it's attached to. It's purely suction. It does not have any sticky residue after you use it. Unless you're referring to the sticky pads that come with the Hero 5 and 6, in which case those are use-once mounts. Once you secure those to a spot, they won't come up. Hope this helps.
