Does this case protect the back camera? null

It does protect the back camera, however I would also pick up a lens protector for the iPhone 11 Pro max. it's too expensive not to protect the camera.

The void area around the camera protects it. However try to protect it as much as you can as if the camera get hit directly it can be damage.
