No because the port cut-outs are diffrent from the 2015 model

No. I just bought a new MacBook Pro 13" with Retina display and the case does NOT fit even though the case box says it is for the MacBook Pro 13" Retina display laptop. How do you know then what DOES fit??

NO!! I bought a new 2016 one like you have and it doesn't fit. This is my second try finding one because the first one I got online didn't fit either. :-<

No the 2016 is a new body design and different dimensions... I would verify it says your model or 2016 in a case description before you buy.
