Yes, this product supports HDCP 2.2.

I have no idea what HDCP is. However, the product works well except that there is no way to control the volume. When I turn down the volume input into the unit (the TV volume), it somehow keeps it at maximum volume. I have earphones attached. The volume is too loud and I have to place the ear phones, near but not on my ears. Furthermore, everyone in the room can hear the audio, negating the whole purpose of the purchase, which was to be able to view television while my wife slept. I do not recommend this item, unless you have headphones that have a separate volume control.
