“I've got a Roku streaming stick connected and trying to stream Netflix and extract 5.1 to my Sonos playbar. Roku shows Dolby digital, but Sonos is seeing stereo in. Why?”

• I've answered my own question. The extractor is not capable of transcoding DD+ (the format that Netflix and almost every streaming platform now uses) to regular DD 5.1. Therefore it simply outputs a stereo signal.
