“I have an Atmos surround system that has 1 wireless sub and no option to add another. Will this pass through the Atmos signal via HDMI unaffected to my sound system while I use the rca out for another sub?”

This device lets you easily extract audio signals. The 3.5mm stereo and optical outputs send audio to your audio device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If I'm not mistaken this device is only for taking the sound portion from input hdmi and reproducing it as an optical signal. I currently use it to separate the audio from xbox x so I can use it in my old Sonos which has optical only. I believe the signal still passes through the hdmi on the output hdmi. There is no rca connection on the device only hdmi. Additionally for product review. Mine died just under a year of use and because I didn't by additional protection I had to eat it. I purchased another and it is already acting spotty. I'm still using it but have purchased on off of Amazon that was cheaper and seems more robust in build quality.
