“Are these earbuds on ear or in ear. I can't wear in ear because they cause headaches so I was hoping that they were on ear. If you don't understand what I mean, on ear is similar to the old apple earbuds that came with the iPhone 4.”

On ear are headphones that sit,well, on your ear. Something like Senhiesser Momentums. Over ear encases the entire ear, like V-Moda LPs. Earbuds go inside the ear, either just inside or into the ear canal. But, these do in fact, go into the ear canal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They fit just like the current apple earbuds and sit just inside the ear. The ear piece actually looks just like the apple buds with the side output. They do not incorporate the, "suction cup" style earbud as I believe you are asking about.
