I would say yes. I've personally put a few drops of dish washing soap in a kitchen sink with water and kind of washed and lightly scrubbed, rinsed and set out to drip dry for years with no problems.

personally I wouldn't put it in the washer... but you could wash it with a mild soap in the sink and let it air dry... I would suggest a small proportion of liquid laundry to water, or even dish soap... in a low soap content since rinsing the rubber backed fabric will be difficult, and wringing it will destroy the back or fray the edges. since they are unfinished.

I don't know the answer to your question. I have never machine washed any mouse pad that I've had. When they wear out, I just purchase a new one.
