“Are the screws in the kit hex or philips and are they small enough to fit most laptop screw holes? I can't find where to buy screws small enough for my laptop”

Yes, small enough, and both Phillips and flat included. Bought this Insignia kit to work on two older computers, a desktop, and an old 2005 Toshiba laptop. Though not successful with breathing life back into the laptop, the Insignia toolkit was invaluable!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The screws are either hex or Phillips screws. No, they are not designed for laptops, only for PC. As far as purchasing screws for a laptop, your best bet is to get them on Ebay, Amazon, or maybe a third party PC website, ie, newegg.
