“I have Sony SRSX33 but it produces too much bass that it's hard to hear some talk and effects. In this regard does Insignia speaker have less bass that it makes it clear to hear what people say and some effects? I want less bass and more clarity.”

• Yes. This is exactly why I bought this just for my tablet for movies and shows. Absolutely clear sound no Bass at all. I have Bose with bass which I use for music.

• The Insignia speaker produces quite a bit of bass as well. If you're looking for more clarity this might not be the one you want.

• If u turn down the volume on ur phone or mp3 player, the sound does well up to full volume on the speaker itself.
