The cord that comes with the unit is a microUSB. Apple phones use a 30-pin cable or a Lightning Port cable.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I agree it would be a better design if a standard iPhone charger cable both charged the battery and connected to the phone. As always, seems the manufacturer want us to have a multitude of cables and transformers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It has a micro-usb cable, which works with pretty much all non-iphone smart phones. You might be able to use the charging cord for you iphone.

All you need is your regular iPhone charging adapter that you would use to plug into a wall. You just plug the USB portion into portable charger. I used it every day on a family trip with my iPhone and it worked great!
