A:AnswerThis happened to me as well… got for my son for Christmas and stopped working around March. It’s apparently a Best Buy brand and supposed to have one year warranty. We just ended up buying another one and returned this broken one… will see how long this second one lasts.
A:AnswerI googled about these machines. So apparently there's a small relay inside you should be able to hear it click when it's running correctly 2 times. (Once to open the water and then again to go to the next step. Mine clicks 1x's but not the 2cd. Which says to me that i need a new relay. They're only 25.00-40.00 thru ebay but the hard part for me would be the sadering the piece back on correctly. So i hope my 2 year geek squad insurance can help in this situation. Good luck
A:AnswerThe best way to clean out this machine is by using lemon juice and hot water or vinegar and hot water. Let it go thru a cycle or 2 before taking out the nasty water and running it again with only waste to rinse
A:AnswerNo. You’ll have to pull out a small plug to drain any unused water to clean the water reservoir area.I haven’t attempted to clean the actual ice-making parts, but I imagine I’ll use a bottle brush after I’ve had the machine for a bit longer.
