The Insignia Connect app only works with Connect-capable items. This only works in Bluetooth range.

I dont think so. It is Bluetooth speaker so you must be within range to listen the music if you paired your phone or any other device.

No. This is a Bluetooth speaker and not a WiFi speaker like an Echo. The phone must be in range of the speaker so if you walk too far away you could lose signal even if you are at home.

No you have to be in range of the speaker to pair with it to turn ii on
