- Answer Yes there is an adapter that you can choose to use if you wish and if the outlets are available. The outlets on my set were occupied so I purchased a 4 ft digital optical audio cable at Best Buy.

QuestionWhenever I start to use this system the Light will be green until I pick the headset up. Then a blinking blue on both lights.And you don't hear anything. Found out I have to replace the headset and it will start charging again. Is this the norm?

- Answer It sounds like they are not paired. When you lift the headphones the blue light should be on on the base and headphones indicating that they are paired. After listening when you place the headphones on the unit jiggle them around a little if the red charging light does not come on. When fully charged the light will change from red to green

- Answer I have not experienced this. My previous Insignia headphone did this after using them for a few years. I think it was from tossing them on the bed. My brother had the same problem. We are both now using this headphone without any problems. You may want to exchange yours.

QuestionMy dad bought these headphones because he is hard of hearing. However his TV does not have an audio output port. See pix. He’s not able to get them to work. They work fine on my TV which has an audio output. Any suggestions appreciated.

- Answer Check his tv. It probably has an optical port unless it’s a very old tv. Can’t tell from your picture not showing more area to the left or right if there is an optical port.

QuestionDoes anyone else have issues where the sound goes out for maybe 1 second every minute or 2?

- Answer Yes. The sound goes out for 2 seconds if the input source is quiet for more than 10 seconds. I think it’s a power saving feature that was very poorly engineered. This makes the headphones unusable for PC games or dialogue based dramas. Pretty much anything that doesn’t have constant white noise coming through.

- Answer They work great for tv viewing . I have hearing loss and like them a lot. I don’t wear the hearing aids much as they suck. These headphones are much better.

QuestionI understand these headphones require you to switch your TV from Dolby 5.1 to PCM mode but my Panasonic plasma Tc-p50s2 does not have a option to switch over. Is there a fix for this?

- Answer Try changing to the optical source using the input source button on the headphones. That’s the best advice I have. Hope that it works better
