“I am interested in this sound bar because of the subwoofer output. I already have a Boston Acoustics unit on my XBOX 360 race car simulator, but I want to add a subwoofer speaker behind the driver seat. Do I need an amplified subwoofer or only speaker?”

• Hello, Thank you very much for your interest in our Insignia soundbar. To address your inquiries, a passive subwoofer will work fine since the sub channel output from the soundbar are 27W @ 10% THD+N, so a 30W 4Ohm unpowered sub will be suffice. Arely R. - Insignia Support
