“Does this charger have the correct tip for Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series? I cannot get it to charge the laptop”

• What I found was that the laptop needed to be slightly opened in order to charge. The connection began to charge once I did that. I kept lifting the laptop open wider and wider until I saw the charger light stay lit green. Shortly after my laptop charged completely.

• The dell laptop doesn't recognise the power cord therefore it doesn't charge the battery but does allow you to power on.
