It will power up a Toshiba C-55, but the end of the cord that fits in the computer port is so loose that it easily falls out at the slightest movement. We had to put a rubber band around the laptop, just above the F keys and use a twist tie to tightly attach the cord to the rubber band. It works, but only until we get a better power adapter.

If you can bring original Best Buy can match it.

I have an older Toshiba not sure of the model, this charger does work with it. I would say if you need one it's worth a try
