Yes, it does! I can confirm that my T6 worked successfully with the Insignia Wired Digital Timer that I purchased yesterday. I chose it over a wireless remote trigger, despite a higher price point, because the T6 lacks an infrared capability. I will keep it because it allows me to set up an interval-based series of shots as well as hands-off triggering, even if I have to remove the batteries to shut it off, or unplug it from the camera body to review my photos.

This item is compatible with most Canon cameras.
