I just ran the Zoom audio test and went into the room behind where the computer/microphone are at, and yes, it does very clearly pickup sound from the other room. With the sliding door closed between rooms, the sound pickup was very faint. The Zoom audio test is very short, but I believe I was able to test the microphone properly.
