- Answer Maybe try connecting the audio through bluetooth. This is not an audio cable, but I admit that it would make it that much better

- Answer What type of device did you hook up the USB C to? Not all devices that have USB C may output video through it. USB C is very universal connection, but everything with USB C cannot necessarily support everything that USB C can handle. I’d start by checking the laptop to ensure it supports Video through the USB C connector.

- Answer Mine worked. I used same item to connect my s8+ to hdmi input to tv and it worked with no issues. Hdmi cable is needed to make this happen.
