“We got this as a gift an I tried to set it up downloaded the google home app on my iPhone did the whole set up on my phone and it said it was ready to use however when I tried using it "hey google" it did not work, I had it paired with the blue tooth .”

Hello Danimark, Thanks for sharing your experience using this Bluetooth smart speaker. Please know that this Smart Speaker should be responding to your commands as soon as you say "Hey, Google" or "OK Google". You still can try some troubleshooting to this speaker by ensuring the microphone is not muted. The LED lights on the top of your speaker turn orange when he microphone is muted. For turning on tor off the microphone, you would have to short press the microphone button for ~1 second.
