“Ours was plugged up for days and working fine but when we took it to a pool party the battery life was onl 1.5hrs. Any ideas why. Was a big disappointment for the party folks”

I think 90 minutes at full volume might be considered reasonable by insignia. When you're outside it's easy to go to full volume and not realize it.
