“Can this unit make and receive phone calls in any way? I know past reviews say it cant, but past reviews also say there will be some update in the future that will enable such functionality.Has the future arrived yet or not? Anyone from Insignia here?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.At this point it can’t receive phone calls. I did place a call to one of my contacts on it using a Google phone number. The reception wasn’t very good. So at this point I wouldn’t bother. Other than that, very happy with this device.
