“Do I have to Have Phone connected? Will it work with out having phone connected? also if I have two/three an I say play music will they all play at same time thoughout my house?”

This works just like a Google Home device. You can connect your phone via Bluetooth, but it can work on WifI too. You can play music on all three simultaneously.
