keeps saying food burn null

it has to have at least a cup of water in the bottom to avoid the burn warning

Hi, Daisy. The food burn message usually means that there's not quite enough liquid in the pot, or the liquid is too thick. Try adding a bit extra liquid, or thinning the liquid out if the liquid you're using is a sauce.
