• I wouldn't recommend that. This CPU is too old to have rebar (amd calls it smart access memory) support. Arc cards are really bad without it. In fact, I had it disabled at first and it wouldn't even work reliably when I installed with linux. In windows, it's know to be very slow without rebar. I wouldn't go older than a 3000 series ryzen CPU with these.

• Work as in display, probably. But that motherboard isnt officially supported, and the real issue is that you would be getting an insane bottleneck, making games basically unplayable.for reference even a current gen ryzen 5 4500 would have some limitations in keeping up with this gpu
