It appears from some answers that there is not 1 state available for a return. There was always a state allowed and you paId if you needed more.

I've used Turbo Tax for years. I believe you can do up to 5 returns

Yes you can do more than 1 return. After you fill out the information for the Federal tax information, it will ask you about state taxes. It also asks for state taxes paid up front when you fill in or import your W-2.

If both you and your daughter worked in the same state, you only need that one state and you can use the software to do up to four or five e-files. If you worked in two separate states, you will need to purchase a second state which can be done thru the program. I believe you will either be charged just prior to a second state download or be charged at the end of the filing.
