“When you say this software is for one user, can that user do income taxes for other individuals or can he only do his own taxes?”

One user can do tax preparation with TTax for as many others as he/she wants to. However, only 5 federal and one tax return can be e-filed. Any other returns would have to be printed and mailed.

I have ALWAYS done our taxes and a few friends The only thing, there is a limit to the number of free e-file federal returns. And state is included but they charge to e-file unless you call and are very nice and get a nice person you might get one free state e-file otherwise it is 14.99 I think.. However you can always print and mail them. Slower but less expensive. We have even loaned our disk In the past to a friend to retrieve their taxes. FYI their customer service is excellent and under the circumstances of their jobs (dealing with irate customers) they are quite patient.
