Hi, I'm happy to help! The record player should be able to handle the shellac record, though the stylus and record will likely wear over time due to the nature of the material.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't do it. I don't think that this has a 78rpm setting and the extra weight and speed could damage the motor driving the turntable.
