A:Answer The battery is not removable. It can be replaced, but must be replaced by a certified technician. The directions say plug it in and charge it after every use. i purchased one and it died about 3 weeks later. It wouldn't do anything, even plugged up. I exchanged it and I have had the second one for a couple of weeks. I would recommend purchasing the extended warranty.
