“It's been rainy and cloudy so sun has been away. Speaker totally ran out of charge. Can you plug these in to charge with the adapter and still use them? I know ours was totally out of charge and I plugged it in but it hasn't let me turn it back on yet.”

Hi, I'll be glad to assist! The Ion Audio Solar Rock Speakers can be powered on and used while they are plugged into an outlet with the power adapter. If the speaker is not turning on while plugged into the outlet, please contact Ion Audio Support at (401)-658-3743.

But if they are really really dead they may need to charge for a bit before they will power on. My understanding is that the solar charge is a slow and not quite complete of a charge as the wall charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.With ours, we used one of them inside and plugged into a wall outlet. Had no issues and it was completely dead before we plugged it in. But beware...DO NOT use the plug in outside if it is going to rain. We ruined one that way.
