these speakers can be stereo linked to play a Bluetooth signal transmitted from a phone or tablet through both devices, however, they will not transmit an analog input plugged into one through the other via the stereo pairing. You could transmit the background music via Bluetooth, pair the two speakers so they both output the Bluetooth source, and then plug one mic into each speaker, or the best option would be to use a mixer, and plug all sources, mics and background music into it. and then plug the left output of the mixer into the left speaker, and the right output of the speaker into the right speaker.
