A:AnswerOr you can make an appt a week in advance and then show up for said appt and they still don’t have the battery you need in stock and just let you waste your time. Legit happened to me today. Lame!
A:AnswerWhen I got mine first they had to order the battery. I got to keep my phone while waiting for the part. Once it came in it took like 2-21/2 hours for them to get it done. Make sure you take off you case and scree protecter and be prepared for it to be covered in fingerprints.

I had an appt and they weren’t even sure if they had a battery but didn’t have a tech or enough time. They are telling me 3-4 hours to get it done after I had to set up another appt. I initially took it to best buy and they told me they would send it away for service, and I could have picked it up the next day. I didn't want to wait. They said if I was willing, I could just drive a little further to the apple store and they could do it while I waited. They even set up the appointment for me.
