“Why do you advertise the service - IPHONE BATTERY REPLACEMENT Then when you go into the store, The Geek Rep says he cant do it without breaking the phone? But from what I see here other people have had this done - delivery of this service look VERY lax”

Based on my recent experience with a battery replacement on my iPhone X, I would not recommend this service be performed by Best Buy Geek Squad. My phone was damaged during the repair and it is now unusable. The repair technician placed the long screw back in a short screw stud which damaged two layers into my circuit board. Here are pictures taken under a microscope at a local electronics repair shop showing the damage.
