• A:Answer Best Buy has to go through the screen to get a new battery, so not only do you have a battery expense but also the screen expense. It is cheaper to get it this way.

• A:Answer Probably around $200. My 10X max battery replacement cost around $190 threw apple referral work and parts ordered threw Best Buy. That’s one of the most expensive parts on the phone. My screen was cracked accidentally when they were replacing the battery, but they ordered a new screen and replaced it at no charge since they accidentally cracked it while replacing the battery. The screen operated the front camera and speaker needed for things like Face ID and so on. Good phones though. My battery was about 4 and half years old, so I believe I got good mileage out of it. : )
