I believe that the sound volume will depend on the Bluetooth source, along with the radio/tuner in the vehicle. It is loud enough where you cannot have a conversation with passengers if you crank it up

I am a person who loves my music loud family says can hear me coming blocks away. Volume is based on car stereo, device connected to it and the reciever so volume is no problem
