Yes. I do it all the time with my J5 Hub. It's a powered hub so functions as if you were directly plugging into the computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t know what you mean by clean back up but I have my external hard drive plugged into it and have no problem. I can save directly to the external and back up any information. It has its own power supply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can connect an external hard drive to the JUH377 hub and that will allow you transfer data from the hard drive to the computer and vice-versa. ** Feel free to contact the Technical Support team mentioned on the packaging for further assistance or if you have any other questions and someone will be glad to assist you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using it to plug in a backup drive on an iMac. The time machine backups appear to be good but it also interferes with my keyboard and trackpad so I'm taking it back to BestBuy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Did a fresh TimeMachine backup with the portable 1TB WD drive connected through this hub. No issues. I would not try seven portable drives at once, however, as the hub needs to provide all the power. I did have two portable drives plugged in with the first doing a TM backup and the second transferring data to the Mac's internal HD. No problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can - use like any hub
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. By the way, I have two external hard drives, a printer, a wireless mouse and a wireless key board plugged to this hub using only one of the two provided hubs that came with my PC. Very versatile adapting to most types of connectors, on top of that.
