Depends if you can down load the driver for the j5 on what ever the cords going to from the router .

The USB Type-A connection must connect to a computer that supports USB-A and the other end (RJ45) must connect to a modem or router. The adapter also requires an installation of a driver to be loaded onto a computer for proper functionality.
