“To use the USB C plug to supply power, what type of power plug is needed? I’ve tried the ones that came with my iPad Pro and iPad and they don’t provide power.”

• The power cord that goes into the USB-C slot is a USB-C cable. I’m positive that the only Apple products that currently use USB-C port is the newer versions of MacBook. That’s the laptop.

• For iPads you may need a slightly more powerful charger. I would recommend somthing in the 30W range.
