• This particular device supports 1Gigabit of data for its Ethernet port. With that being said, 1Gig is a more recent hardwire internet capacity. So, i would say that will certainly work for a hard drive with 2TB. Because this is a modern adapter. And transferring files is supported. The 2TB drive is only the capacity for the hard drive memory.
