• The USB-C Multi-Port Hub with Power Delivery works with low power rated HDD. With a high powered HDD it may require additional power to run smoothly. The USB-C power-in port (up to 60W) on the Hub may help it. However, the power-in port will provide pass-through charge and additional power to the USB ports at the same time. May have to change your power setting to provide more power to the USB ports on the Hub provided by your MacBook Pro.
