Yes. There’s no need for external power supply. This docking station plugs directly into a 120v AC outlet. Make certain your operating system (I.e. Windows 10 or iOS (apple) display software is configured to recognize your specific display layout. Check YouTube how to setup for multiple monitors.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P15s (15") Mobile Workstation states, USB-C 3.2 (Gen 2, with Thunderbolt™ 3, DisplayPort, data transfer, power delivery) USB-C 3.2 (Gen 1, with DisplayPort, data transfer, power delivery) The JCD543 or JCD543P will work for your computer. The difference between the two is one of them comes with the power adapter (JCD543P). The power adapter will grant pass-through charge and provide a little more power to the USB ports for higher USB peripherals.
