“Does this Docking station require the usb-c port on your laptop to support video output? or does this device turn it into a display port? (hopefully that makes sense) i am trying to connect two monitors on a laptop extender that i purchased.”

Only has one USB-C port. The other is for the power. If you need two, then you need to get an adapter.

Please try again later.The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station uses a combination of native Alt Mode video output and MCT technology (Driver) to support multiple displays. To get the most seamless experience, at least one of the video outputs on the dock (DisplayPort or one of the HDMI ports) relies on your laptop’s USB-C port supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode).
