Will this work on my HP 15-dy1027ov laptop? null

It appears that model does not support DP alt-mode/Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C and therefore you will not obtain the full functionality of the JCD543. Instead, I recommend the JCD381 which is driver based and will allow both HDMI ports to work with your computer.
