• The JCD543 can provide 1 additional display with not driver necessary. If you are trying to connect more then one display then yes, a driver is required.

• I did not downloaded any driver. I pugged my Dell Inspiron 17 and worked well.

• I'm using the docking station with a Windows 10 laptop and it was a simple plug and play for me ,,,, no driver installation required and I've had zero problems.
