No, I tried it. It doesn't damage them but won't stay turned on.

Not only is water a barrier to Bluetooth, but the Jabra Elite 3 earbuds do not have protection from submersion in water. Furthermore, exposure to salt, chlorine, chemicals, and solvents can damage and deteriorate your earbuds.
